VII: Poetry by A.J. Huffman & Music by Your Schizophrenia

I Am Ghost

of raven wings, a blinding black hologram
haunting deserted planes of my own mind.
I am flightless, condemned
to flutter like a charred butterfly,
inches above grassless fields,
infinities below flowing skies. I am miles
beyond salvation, condemned to an eternity
in a transparent hell. My only reprieve
is a repeated act of desperation,
a forward thrusting, splaying my body
as if it were becoming
part of the glass.
